The
most exciting and fulfilling internship opportunity in Washington, D.C.
A Talk Radio News
Service Internship is a hands-on, intense internship program. Interns
are treated as regular staff and are given the opportunity to learn
reporting, writing and digital editing for live on-air radio work
on a daily basis. This internship requires hardwork, dedication and
committment, but you will leave here with a resume stacked with examples
of your on-air and written work.

| Talk
Radio News interns come from around the world. Some come with a strong background
in journalism or radio, some come with little experience but lots of drive.
By the end of the first week, interns will be able to do their own stories
for College Media News and Talk Radio News. All interns will leave with
valuable real-world work experience.
A typical day for
a TRNS intern may include:
- Attending Congressional
Committee hearings in the morning.
- Editing and uploading sound bytes and descriptions to the TRNS Web site.
- Covering an event for College Media News in the afternoon.
- Editing sound, writing a script, and voicing a story for the CMN Web
site.
- Booking guests for a national or local talk radio show.
- Researching, developing and producing news stories for Pacifica Radio.
- Attending a concert or other social event and interviewing the latest
celebrity for College Media News.
The possibilities
are endless!
