College Media News
is a Washington, D.C. based news service, produced by college students
for college students. The College Media News staff covers events
throughout the nation's capital -- from the White House to Capitol Hill
to the Supreme Court -- producing stories with a youthful and punchy
edge that fills a news void. For the first time, college students
throughout the nation have a news source directed to their concerns
and needs based in the nation's capital. No other Washington, D.C. news
organization tailors it's news content to the nation's college students
like College Media News.
The
College Media News web site consists
of various categories. The Daily Dose is a thirty-second
piece, summarizing the main political stories of the day. Beltway
Bites are longer pieces, combining audio clips and actual voice
commentaries from the College Media News
reporters. Interviews conducted with prominent figures within
the D.C. area, including cabinet members and members of Congress
appear in the Hot Seat section. Additional sections include: D.C.
Athletics, Features, Ed-Op, Literary Reviews and Dinosaur Talk.
College Media News
has also entered into a partnership with Vote.com.
Now, on Vote.com, a college
